Position Overview
CRH is looking for a Sustainability Manager within the Finance and Accounting department. The role includes leading and contributing to the corporate sustainability reporting team (part of the Finance function). The role will be centred around delivering key social data (including human resources, human rights and safety outputs) for various CRH documents including the Annual Report, Sustainability Report and other internal requirements. Other key objectives will be developing value-creation opportunities through the data collection process, responding to key stakeholder requirements, and ensuring CRH’s sustainability leadership position and reputation.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Lead and contribute to the corporate sustainability reporting team in areas including data gathering, ESG reporting, data monitoring and compliance against key targets, policies, and strategies. Developing reporting systems to ensure compliance against regulations, best practice and third-party assurance
- Understand evolving stakeholder expectations on leading-class performance in sustainability and recommend actions for CRH to achieve its strategic objectives
- Provide high quality analysis of data developing key visualisation techniques.
- Strong communication and influencing skills required, building relationships with key identified stakeholders and represent CRH in certain collaborative initiatives
- Prepare presentations and communication materials for senior leadership and external stakeholders. Develop training materials for key stake holders
- This is a dynamic area and other duties, and projects will arise
