Description:
The Scan4Safety Systems Administrator Grade V will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the administrative duties of the team and to delegate and assign work as appropriate. They will report to the Inventory and Logistics Manager or Deputy for the directorate and will deputise for him/her where required.

- Have demonstrable experience of participation in departmental projects
- Disseminate relevant information to staff and the multidisciplinary team and provide opportunity for feedback from all members of the team in relation to the service.
- Ensure all interaction with patients and patient records are carried out in a strictly confidential manner
- Organize and/or attend meetings, working groups, committees, as required relevant to the department.
- Facilitate and record participation in mandatory training.
- Carry out any other duties, which may be assigned from time to time.
- Provide first-level contact and problem resolution for all Tallaght Hospital S4S/ SAP users, addressing or escalating reported and identified issues.
- Escalate issues to the Inventory and Logistics Manager, support team or other external support teams as appropriate and manage the entire escalation and communication process with those support teams.
- Obtain and convey pertinent problem information for second level issue resolution by the Cross Hospital SAP Support team or other external support team.
- Monitor system and user performance to identify issues and anomalies and suggest and execute improvements as required.
- Produce management and control reports and statistics and distribute to relevant managers as required.
- Maintain communication with end-users during the issue’s resolution process.
- Critically review S4S/SAP and related processes and recommend developments to further improve process efficiency and effectiveness
- Facilitate the change associated with the introduction of new functionality and business processes
- Work as project lead on S4S/SAP change and improvement initiatives
- Liaise with the Tallaght Hospital users to communicate system information such as downtime, configuration changes etc.
- Participate in system testing as required, i.e. regression, support pack & disaster recovery testing
- Integration / User Acceptance Testing – Preparation of test scripts and test data and execution of such tests
- Security – Management of user accounts, user access restrictions and activity at SAP level
- Prepare and deliver application training to all Tallaght Hospital users.
- Carry out any other duties, which may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications & Experience required
Must have:
- Have obtained at least Grade D3 in five subjects in the Leaving Certificate Examination (higher, ordinary, applied or vocational programmes) or equivalent
