1. Tenure of Employment
This post is Temporary full time to cover maternity leave, working 78 hours per fortnight. Compulsory Retirement age is 70.

2. Qualifications and Experience
The successful candidate must:

• Be registered by An Board Altranais R.N.I.D is desirable or

Have a relevant third level qualification in health or social care and a relevant management qualification

• Have at least 5 years post qualification/registration experience gained with an up-to-date knowledge of current thinking and practice in services for people with intellectual disability.
• Have adequate training and experience pertinent to people with challenging behavior and severe to profound Intellectual Disabilities
• Be a holder of a current Irish Driving License.
• Have 3 years’ experience at management level in a management or supervisory role in the area of health or social care.
• Working knowledge and understanding of requirements of HIQA standards.
