Team Leader

Description:

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• First line Supervision for the shift

• Lead safety from a line perspective

  • Safety improvements

  • Near miss reporting

  • Housekeeping

• Organise the team to optimise completion of the daily plan

• First point of contact for decision making on re-allocating works if breakdown etc.

• First point of contact on line troubleshooting

• Support to any in line Quality issues

• Actively support line improvements

  • AOP Productivity targets

  • Increase uptime

  • Reduce waste

  • RFT work order completion through accurate and timely consumption

  • Time registration accuracy

• Ensure completion relevant daily, weekly, monthly and annual planned maintenance

• First line support to Engineering and Maintenance

• Support in the completion of updates to documentation (MS, WI, Training records)

• Training new team members

• Supporting the review of effective training

Qualifications

• 
  Technical degree

• Demonstrates excellent Leadership skills

• Focus on Safety

• High performing verbal and written skills.

• Good organisation skills and attention to detail.

• Good level of computer literacy

• Capable of working in a fast paced environment
