Position Description

Database is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and timely updating of the Central Market Database (SAP) for ESB Networks and other Industry participants. This team ensures the integrity of data in our database. Database is part of the Retail Market Services (RMS) organisation in Network Assets. This position will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to work as a Database team member, working closely with MRSO, Meter Reading ,Revenue Protection and gaining a broad knowledge of SAP ISU. The primary role will involve supporting the Team Leader of Database in various operational tasks within the section. In addition there will be an opportunity to work closely with associated areas in RMS and Networks e.g., Meter Reading, MRSO, Smart Metering and Revenue Protection. This role would suit an ambitious self-starter, interested in working in Portlaosie and intent on developing a career within Database and the broader RMS organisation. Established career paths have been developed for this team.

Key Responsibilities

• The timely updating of the Central Market Database (SAP) for ESB Networks and other Industry participants
• Working as part of a highly motivated team to ensure the integrity of data in our database
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of Market Messages
• Flexible approach to working, including multitasking as required.
• Liaising closely with other business functions within RMS and ESB Networks.
• Resolve customer queries and complaints in line with customer charter.
• Participate in business projects as required
