Trade & Cash Management Team Lead

In the position of Trade & Cash Management Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing our trade and cash management operations, ensuring that all deliverables from the team are achieved. The team plays a critical role in settling all asset trades on behalf of the company's clients, monitoring and reporting on liquidity, and pricing internal funds. You will focus on the accurate and timely settlement of trades relating to structured products, equities, unit trusts, bonds, and other investment categories. Emphasizing teamwork and adaptability will be crucial in delivering superior service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate team activities to ensure timely achievement of deliverables
• Report on team performance metrics
• Conduct regular team meetings to align on objectives and discuss progress
• Manage team schedules, including holidays and time off
• Act as a primary contact for projects and working groups
• Facilitate collaboration with the broader finance team
• Drive efficiency and implement process improvements as part of ongoing enhancements
• Perform other ad-hoc duties or projects as assigned

What We're Looking For:

To excel in this role, we believe you possess:

• A degree in a relevant field
• Relevant experience in a middle office setting, with knowledge of trade, settlement, and reconciliation
• Familiarity with Investpro financial systems is advantageous
• Strong computer skills, especially with the MS Office Suite (particularly MS Excel - Pivot tables, vLookup, etc.)
• Exceptional planning and organizational abilities
• A keen attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and familiarity with regulatory requirements impacting the business
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High levels of self-motivation with the capacity to inspire and motivate others
