Your Responsibilities
In this role, the responsibilities will include:
- Acts as Training Business Partner and collaborates with Area Management to implement functional area training requirements.
- Performs a key role in a very dynamic environment in the design and developmnent of training programmes. As part of their core role it will involve direct collaboration with functional areas in the delivery of agreed training programmes.
- Tracks performance against training plans and reports regularly to functional areas, with an objective to drive performance and compliance.
- Create and revise department curricula.
- Working closely with functional areas to carry out Training Needs Analysis and develop plans to ensure training needs are completed. The training specialist will complete periodic reviews of training requirements.
- MasterControl is the Learning Management System for documenting and recording training activities, the training specialist is required to maintain the system and ensure the accurate of data entry.
- Develop training reports and cascade this information to support local metrics.
- Support audits by providing SME input, as well as training reports as requested.
- Support a safe working environment by complying with all pertinent environmental health and safety practices, rules and regulations.
- As required the employee may be required to ‘perform additional duties at the request of the Company.
- Perform all duties in accordance with GMP requirements, SOPs and controlled documents.
- Will be flexible to take on additional tasks and responsibilities at the discretion of the Site Training Lead.
Will act as a role model for the Training function and also the wider organisation in adherence to the WuXi corporate core values and PROUD culture
Your Profile
The ideal candidate for this position, will have the following:
Education
- Third level education or equivalent professional experience in a similar role is essential.
Knowledge/Experience
- 2-5 years experience as a training specialist, instructional designer, and/or curriculum developer is a key requirement of the role.
- Experience supporting and/or creating materials for on-the-job training is essential.
- Significant experience working in a GMP manufacturing environment is preferred.
