Transport Planner

Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for a Transport Planner located in Fermoy. Working as part of the Operations Team, The Transport Planner is to be responsible for the overall day to day transport planning for specific customer groups and/or geographical areas.

Reporting to the Transport Manager who in turn reports to the Operations Manager, the position is a key operational role which contributes to the development and implementation of the company’s Values, Policies and Services.

Qualifications

• Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Min 2 years in a similar role within the logistics or transportation industry
• Good communication skills
• Good written and spoken English
• Excellent organisation skills
• Lateral thinking.
• Analytical and good problem solver
• Ability to use initiative
• Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
