Description:

The Urology Clinical Nurse Specialist will provide a professional nursing service to meet the needs of the patient in the Urology department and collaborate with all other patient areas involved in Urology Cancer Services in Beaumont Hospital. They will have a major role and responsibility for coordinating the care of patients being referred with unexplained visible haematuria and suspected bladder cancer. They will also have a role and responsibility in aspects of care in collaboration with the Rapid Access Prostate Nurse Specialists, Clinical Nurse Manager 2 Urodynamics, Urology coordinator and the Urology outpatient and inpatient wards and assisting the team in the co-ordination of the patient journey in line with current hospital policy and procedures.
