Warehouse Operative

Description:

Our client has grown to become one of the leading distributors of high purity chemicals to the pharmaceutical industry in Ireland. They are going through a growth stage at the moment and hope to hire a number of Senior Warehouse personnel to join their locations across Ireland.

This is a unique opportunity to join a growing company which has a track record of internal promotion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect all incoming goods
• Prepare shipments for next day delivery
• Quality assurance, including inspections of goods for delivery and preparing labels
• Processing goods through the ERP system where required
• Stock taking and inventory duties as required
• Leading the warehouse team in absence of supervisors
• Maintain compliance with health and safety requirements
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned
• Ability to travel between sites as required

Key Skills:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to multitask and prioritise workload to meet deadlines
• Working to a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail
• Experience in operating warehouse machinery (Forklift / counterbalance)
