Warehouse Operative

A leading provider of building materials and solutions, specialising in innovative products for the construction and home improvement industries, is looking for a Warehouse Operative.

We are seeking a Warehouse Operative with a valid Counterbalance - Forklift Licence to join our team. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a busy warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a Counterbalance Forklift to move and load stock safely
• Pick, pack, and label items accurately – products often have similar codes requiring strong attention to detail
• Conduct regular manual handling of stock – some items exceed 10kg
• Follow health & safety and warehouse procedures at all times
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets
• Perform general housekeeping and maintenance of warehouse space
• Assist with stock checks, documentation, and inventory control

Requirements

• Valid Counterbalance - Forklift Licence
• Up-to-date Manual Handling Certificate
• Strong command of English (reading and writing)
• Ability to read and differentiate similar product codes
• Physically fit and able to lift heavier items safely
• Punctual, reliable, and capable of working independently and as part of a team
• Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essentialsss
