Wedding Coordinator

 

Description:

Our client based in North Roscommon require a Wedding Coordinator to join their team. This is a permanent role in the hospitality sector.

As a Wedding Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Handle any reservation requests and deal with guests in a professional manner and enter reservation into the system
  • Liaise with each client on a regular basis to ensure that the expectations and demands of the customer are thoroughly met
  • Deal with client queries and complaints in a friendly and efficient manner
  • Assist with group welcoming and directing on day of function
  • Presence on the day/evening of a function
  • Ensure on a daily basis that each department is aware of any meeting or function occurring that day and that all requirements of the group are met
  • Build and maintain accuracy of database and group profile information by gathering, verifying and recording information
  • Ensure all folio balances and house accounts are monitored and payment & deposits are received

Requirements

  • Experience working in similar sales/marketing position
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized with ability to prioritise workload
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good presentation & professional telephone manner
