MCCR Marketing, also known as Bitcoin Marketing Team is a tech & blockchain specialist marketing and advertising agency based in Dublin and established in 2014.

Due to growth in our company projects across both blockchain and non-blockchain clients, we are currently looking for a Wordpress Developer to join the team. Our clients include a range of companies in the blockchain/fintech space, video games, music and healthcare industries in Europe and North America.

We have a part-time (15 hours/week) position which is work-from-home, but must be based on the island of Ireland. The hours are more task focused as opposed to time focused, other than a couple of scheduled regular times for team calls across the week, and potentially a couple of meetings in Dublin when Covid buggers off ;p After a year of dealing with a pandemic, lockdown, working from home and toddlers we've know how it is!

This is an ideal role for a recent graduate in web development who has some experience with building wordpress websites from scratch, as well as working on improving existing wordpress based websites, who also has a keen interest in technology such as cryptocurrencies and blockchain, someone who has completed courses, or has a portfolio of work under their belt in some or all the the areas covered by the job's responsibilities.

The role will incorporate a number of responsibilities across the term of the contract (with support from experienced colleagues), including;

Work on new websites

- Configuring Wordpress from scratch
- Picking & configuring a theme
- Creating Pages/Posts
- Working with a brief to put together a design for the main pages
- Working with our copywriting team to build out content/SEO on pages
- Working with our graphic design team to get appropriate images for the site
- Configuring plugins
- With our range of premium plugins, improving pagespeed
- Mobile optimization
- Working with a client through the final stages to launch a site

Work on existing websites
- Analysing existing wordpress setups for flaws/areas of improvement
- Redesigning/restructuring content
- Redesigning the layout
- Configuring plugins

The contract is initially for 2 months, but may be extended on a rolling contract basis or switched to permanent part-time roles based on performance.
